Straight from the-not so-Oval Office of SL413 student council is heavily enforcing the Holiday spirit. We are dangerously close to our canned food drive goal. All hands are needed on deck to achieve this goal and help the Little Sisters of the Poor. This initiative always shows the generosity of the student body, and expresses our emphasis on the “Service” aspect of our motto. The last day for donations is Friday, November 20.

Next up from student council is the Inaugural Thanksgiving Pie Sale. My cabinet will be baking pies for the students just to get that home-cooked Thanksgiving feeling. But that’s not all. When Christmas rolls around Student Council will be showing a Christmas movie on December 11th in the McGonigle Theater. The movie is up to the choice of the students. We’ll be decorating the halls and putting up a Charlie Brown Christmas tree just to spread the spirit. 

Enforcing the brotherhood we are we are going to make hype up other sports teams such as basketball team. We will have more sponsored theme shirts and surprise events. Be prepared for what all Student Council has in store for the rest of the semester.
