A Touching Restatement of Love, “Butterflies” Makes for a Great Listen as Well

In a follow-up to his hit single “Lights Down Low,” singer-songwriter MAX has recaptured the romanticism and pop feelings in his new single “Butterflies”.

Written by MAX as a symbol of his renewed wedding vows and performed with the assistance of fellow musical talent Ali Gatie, this romantic song will have you swooning and dancing in equal amounts.

With the lyrical genius we’ve come to expect from MAX and an expertly simple but moving guitar track, expect to hear this song more and more at those most touching moments of your life.

“Butterflies” truly has a way of getting in your head with its amazing harmonies, but for those worried, it will get stuck in their head, fear not.

It knows how to get its message across without overstaying its welcome, leading to a beautiful but succinct song that you’ll likely find yourself putting on repeat.

With inspiration from his actual wife, the listener has a glimpse into the love MAX and his wife share, it’s no surprise that it feels so personal which only acts to its benefit.

If I had a single complaint about this single, it is only that it’s too short. I was left wanting to hear more of both the wonderful voices of MAX and Ali Gatie, but also the impressive instrumental work as well.

Though this only makes me more excited for what MAX could possibly be working on next, and in the meantime, the replay button exists for a reason.

All in all, MAX managed to perfectly mimic the tones of not only his last song, but all classic romantic songs, and even add to them. When you listen to “Butterflies” you’re pulled into this melody of love and romance, and you may just come out the other side with butterflies yourself.
