Nostalgia and Wrestling: An Odd Combination that Just Makes Sense

Nostalgia is one of the best feelings when we reminisce about past events – it could be an old video game, movie, environment, or anything from the past that brings you joy.

This article will reflect on nostalgic items from the past and survey how people remember them.

The first thing I looked back at was professional wrestling. These larger-than-life athletes fight it out in the ring to make their opponent tap out. When I thought about this, I think of World Wrestling Entertainment, or WWE for short.

As I picture WWE, wrestlers like John Cena, Randy Orton, and Triple H are on my TV screen and getting into whatever type of craziness they could muster.

Seeing these people fight over anything is just amazing! Whether it’s for respect, for money, or for a championship, there are so many powerful stories that have blossomed out of professional wrestling. For example, Daniel Bryan overcame the odds of everyone holding him back to become the top superstar in the WWE.

Another huge story that came out of wrestling was the impressive streak of wrestlers like Undertaker, going undefeated at prestigious tournaments like Wrestlemania. There was nothing Undertaker could not do!

People could throw others into tables, ladders, and chairs, and it seemed like you could see anything on this show. This is the charm of professional wrestling, and it’s the thing that makes me so nostalgic while watching old wrestling shows that aired when I was a child.

If you reflect on the nostalgic items of your childhood, I would suggest that you go back and laugh at the silliness of professional wrestling because it’s one of the most exciting things that you can watch.
