Central Catholic Future Business Leaders of America’s club, called a chapter, has soared to new heights during the 2022 – 2023 school year.

The chapter was able to compete in competitive events, participate in national programs, and develop camaraderie through community service projects and social gatherings.

Central Catholic FBLA member, Jack Sabo, ran a successful campaign at the 2022 State Leadership Conference and was elected State President.

Sabo serves as a voting member of the Pennsylvania FBLA Board of Directors as part of his duties.

Sabo has also been busy visiting various middle schools, either in person or virtually, to help establish middle school FBLA chapters.

Middle school chapters allow students to experience FBLA by attending workshops and conferences as well.

For the 2022 – 2023 membership year, Central Catholic’s chapter has 116 paid, registered members.

This is on target with last year’s membership, and this growth is based on recruitment and retention efforts. With these high membership numbers, Central Catholic has established itself as one of the biggest chapters within PA FBLA.

In addition to their membership, the Central Catholic chapter’s performance continued to impress at the Region 10 Leadership Conference.

This year, Central Catholic qualified 56 students for the 2023 PA FBLA State Leadership Conference, a school record.

From live performances to objective tests, Central Catholic’s chapter is showcasing its diverse talents and unique skills. Congratulations to all who are competing, and best of luck at the State Leadership Conference!

This year, their chapter’s focus has pivoted to participating in the Champion Chapter program. This national program has given FBLA chapters the opportunity to drive membership recruitment, community service, and celebration of Career and Technical Education.

These members have shown a genuine commitment to sharpening their business knowledge, and they deserve huge congratulations for their efforts in the 2022-23 school year!
