On March 11, the inaugural Central Catholic Invitational for the quiz bowl was held at Central Catholic. Teams from all over Pennsylvania and Ohio attended. The top two teams were from the Winchester-Thurston School and Norwin High School. They qualified for the national high school quiz bowl championship in Chicago on June 10-11.
