The Viking

Since 1927, Central Catholic High School has been building a proud tradition of excellence as a high school for young men. The school is conducted by the Christian Brothers, diocesan clergy, and dedicated laymen and laywomen under the auspices of the Diocese of Pittsburgh. The Viking is a long-standing literary tradition of Central Catholic High School.

The Viking is the student newspaper publication of Pittsburgh Central Catholic High School. The Viking is written, edited, and produced by the students of Central Catholic High School. Opinions are those of the writers and do not necessarily represent or reflect the views of Central Catholic High School as we encourage students to be Men of Faith, Scholarship, and Service. The moderator and editorial staff reserves the right to accept, edit, or reject any submission, photo, or advertisement.

The Viking Staff tries to ensure that the information provided is correct, however, mistakes do occur. This is first and foremost a student-run production where the journalistic process is still a learning process. If you notice a mistake, please let the moderator or the editor-in-chief know so that an accurate update is made.
